Mediocre massage and hand relief
| | Happy Ending |
The nearest main car parks are at the Bus Station (aka Upperhead Row where levels 1-3 are cheaper if staying less than 3 hours) or the Civic Centre. There is limited on street parking nearby on Market Place and Market Street. The entrance is off a pedestrianised section of New Street, through an archway signposted "Hawksby's Court", to the Right of the Oxfam shop. The door is on the Right. There is a buzzer to press for access.
Walking up the steps you're hit by the mix of incense and cigarette smoke. The reception is to the right at the top of the steps. I was greeted and asked how long I wanted and for the first of many times was asked if I had been there before (I said yes - I thought that was the idea if expecting extras but later had to to admit I had been lying which she thought was hilarious...). I paid £40 at reception which is the price quoted on the web page. I was shown to the room by the same lady and asked to get undressed. When she came back in she found it funny that I had laid down but put the towel provided over my bum (that's what I always do, thought that was right).
She started with a very sub par traditional dry Thai massage with towels. I'm not an expert but I doubt she has had any training and this just felt like a waste of time. After about 5-10 mins of that she progressed to warm oil which again was quite nice but not really anything to write home about. During this she asked me if I would like extras and I said "yes please". She then went on about how they like extras, as £40 isn't enough - a bit awkward and unnecessary. She offered body-to-body and a happy ending for what I was fairly certain she had said was an extra £15. I agreed. During the body-to-body she gave a decent impression that she was enjoying it and asked if I would like to enter her. I declined. I hardly last two minutes when a lot of skin contact and hot oil is involved, so after not very long the inevitable happened.
We cleaned up and got dressed and as I was leaving I offered £20 as the £15 quoted, plus a tip. However, she then said that we had agreed £50 extra. I have only had one other Thai massage with a happy ending in the UK (at Sabai Sabai in Beeston) and £20 was charged there, so maybe I misheard or maybe she was trying it on - I really don't know. I reluctantly gave up the remaining £20 I had with me (£80 total) and she seemed pleased with that.
No shower was offered, but it says on the website that it's there if needed.
